AMTwerkt is looking for experienced Flat Roof Roofers for renovation, maintenance and insulation projects in the Netherlands.
We are recruiting for four locations:

• Apeldoorn – Gelderland
  
• Alkmaar – North Holland
  
• Gorinchem – South Holland
  
• Son (Eindhoven area) – North Brabant
  

You will work on flat and low-pitched roofs at residential buildings, apartment complexes, shopping centres, commercial properties and public buildings.
Together with a regular colleague, you will travel to different projects in a modern, fully equipped work van.
One week you may be renovating a roof on an apartment building, while the next week you could be working on a commercial property or repairing a roof after a leak.
No two projects are exactly the same.

What will you do as a Flat Roof Roofer?

As an experienced roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, renovating and maintaining flat and low-pitched roofs.
Your main responsibilities include:

• Inspecting roofs and assessing existing roofing materials.
  
• Measuring and preparing roof surfaces before installation.
  
• Removing old or damaged roof coverings.
  
• Installing and applying bituminous roofing membranes.
  
• Using appropriate torch-on roofing techniques where required.
  
• Installing thermal roof insulation materials.
  
• Carrying out complete flat roof renovation projects.
  
• Identifying and repairing roof leaks.
  
• Installing, repairing and maintaining gutters and rainwater drainage systems.
  
• Installing and finishing roof penetrations, ventilation outlets and roof connections.
  
• Checking seams, joints and waterproof finishes.
  
• Performing preventative roof maintenance and repair work.
  
• Following safety procedures when working at height.
  
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite.
  

Work on a wide variety of roofing projects

As a Flat Roof Roofer, you will work on different types of buildings and roofing systems.
Projects may include:

• Flat roof renovation for residential properties.
  
• Maintenance of apartment buildings and social housing.
  
• Roof replacement on shopping centres and commercial buildings.
  
• Roof insulation and energy-efficiency improvements.
  
• Leak detection and roof repairs.
  
• Roofing work on public and municipal buildings.
  

You will work with professional tools and materials and have the opportunity to use your practical experience independently.
We are looking for skilled professionals who understand how to construct, repair and finish a durable, waterproof roofing system.
